At The Nursery at Whitehouse Farm in Morpeth, we appreciate there is a lot more to children's development than academic success. This is why we take a rounded approach to education and child care and ensure to help children develop emotionally and creatively as well as academically.
Above all, we treat children as the unique individuals they are and not like numbers or statistics. We get to know children on a personal level as we believe this allows us to help children truly flourish and grow.
Children's development and wellbeing
To ensure your child is developing sustainably, we always put their wellbeing at the forefront of our daycare and preschool services. We ensure all the meals and snacks provided for your child are healthy and nutritious and regularly change our menus to introduce new meals and flavours to children.
An essential element of child development is understanding how to be a valuable member of a community so we ensure to teach children about the importance of roles and responsibilities within our own farm. Whether children are feeding lambs or monitoring animal habitats, we aim to teach them about team work and caring for one another.
Play is important to child development and we ensure to account for a lot of play and fun between
activities and tasks. From soft play to tractor rides there is endless joy and entertainment to be found at The Nursery at Whitehouse Farm.
